NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) applied on the scalp in the patients with androgenetic alopecia
At the 71st Korean Dermatology Conference held recently, Professor Hang Cheol Shin from Soongsil University and others disclosed that they are developing new hair growth technologies.
They used microneedles to implant NMN and growth factor cocktail Cellcurin™ into the scalp of 20 patients suffering from androgenetic alopecia.
After 3 months of treatment, the volume and quality of all patients showed a significant improvement. Professor Heng Zhexin said that they will carry out more complete and larger-scale clinical trials after the addition.
